SPECIAL COOKING INSTRUCTION:

To oven cook from chilled, follow these steps:

1. If freezing at home, ensure thorough defrosting before cooking.
2. Preheat your oven.
3. Remove all packaging from the chicken.
4. Place the chicken in a roasting tray on the middle shelf of the oven.
5. During cooking, spoon over the juices periodically.
6. After cooking, ensure the food is piping hot.
7. Allow the chicken to stand for 10 minutes before carving.
8. Remember, cooking appliances may vary. The following are general guidelines: Oven cook from chilled at 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas 5 for approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes.

- Avoid washing raw chicken.

- Keep raw poultry away from cooked foods.

- Use separate utensils and surfaces for raw and cooked poultry, or wash them thoroughly between uses.

- Wash your hands after handling raw poultry.

- Cook raw poultry thoroughly until it is piping hot and no pink remains.

- Ensure poultry is cooked if the juices run clear when the deepest part is pierced with a skewer.
